Pizzo
is one of the most renowned towns in the Vibo
Valentia province on the western coast of Calabria.
The town is a well-known and popular seaside resort
as well as a thriving fishing center. Pizzo and
the province to which it belongs to, Vibo Valentia,
is famous for its scenic rugged coast, long sandy
beaches, pleasant climate and the best ice cream
in the world. The region is steeped in history,
with its roots dating back to 7th century BC when
it originally became inhabited as the Greek colony
of Hipponion.
Pizzo

busy Club Med resort. The developers are currently
working on a deal with the Club Med operators
in order to offer many more facilities for residents
of Pizzo Beach Club such as rock climbing, kayaking
and sailing as well as numerous others. In addition,
there is scope for increased rental income due
to the popularity and lack of accommodation on
the Club Med site during the peak season.
